Hydro Bar and Grill in Calistoga

Good food. The slow cooked ribs were seriously amazing. The misses was not impressed with the ravioli. Had wings for an appetizer. Small, but tasty. Drinks were amazing.

Great selection of quality dishes at very fair prices, as well as a full bar and superb selection of beer on tap. This is a favorite stop for lunch or dinner, and caters to locals and tourists alike. This restaurant has been owned by the same friendly and local proprietor for more than thirty years, and he is well known for his generosity to the community at large. A slice of Calistoga history and tradition, and well worth a visit.

Nice little stop in place in Calistoga. Sipping tall gin and tonics in a cool place, gets a little warm on the main street. But, oh! The weather is nice this time of year, the beginning of September. So if you're playing tourista, good place to sit a spell at the bar, with a drink and small plate of good eats.

Good service. Hamburgers were very tasty as were the sweet potato fries.

Amazing pastas and burgers. Beer and cocktail selections are impressive as well.

Nothing in particular to rave about for lunch. I imagine this place is much better at night with live music. While the food was dressed nicely and presented well, it was still, well---bar & grill tier. Combine this with a bit slow and absent service, then you must resort to the drinks. They have a decent selection of beers and you can't go wrong with 21st Amendment Watermelon Wheat. In the end, I'd try the night scene.

Great food. Pretty inside. Lots of booze to choose from. I will say the wait staff was a little slow, but it seemed like a slow day. Def get the garden pasta.

The "Best Burger in Calistoga" is actually pretty darn delicious. Hydro Bar & Grill is your run of the mill sports bar that serves food, with some of that Napa flair. The burger was really juicy and the accompaniments work well with the juicy patty. Not sure how good the other items on the menu taste, but why would you order anything else besides the burger?

Long time visitor if this establishment. Weather it be for drinks, lunch, dinner, or live music this place has it all. Cocktails are dynamite and the beer selection is great along with the vast lists of wine and spirits. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. I always have a great time when I visit.

I'm enjoying the Hydro quite a lot during my stay in Calistoga. Their prices are very reasonable, service is good, and they serve the best hamburger I have ever had in my entire life, the Hydro burger. The Wine Country is an expensive place for a vacation; I'm grateful to the Hydro for making my stay a little less costly.

The hydro Grill has high ceilings and an open floorplan. It is tastefully decorated with wall art. Large windows to watch outside activities.

Not the best food, expensive for what you get. The decor is so disjointed. Too much going on, had breakfast only so don't know what the lunch and dinner is like. Was very average , nothing special. Won't miss anything if you don't eat here.

My sweet husband of 37 years, gave me a lover's getaway for my Birthday. My family has brought me to Calistoga, since I was 6 - 7 years old! I learned to swim there! I remember how very crowded it used to be! Maybe it wasn't so crowded because it was the middle of the week? As we walked around a bit, sadly we saw several shops and restaurants were closed down. While I know the fires greatly affected the area, destroying so much in its ggv. I know the people to be are resilient and resourceful!

Great place to stop in for a cold beer, glass of wine, or a bite to eat after a day in wine country. Andrea was an awesome bartender! Made everyone feel welcome and gave us great suggestions/ recommendations from the menu.

The burger was worthy of the claim "best burger" - according to the kids. The BBQ ribs were tender and perfectly charred. The mussel dish was rich and tasty. The service was welcoming and friendly. We'll come back when we come this way again.

Good burger.... terrible service. 30 mins just to get an order in. Constantly hailing staff due to them not checking on us. Order was wrong. Maybe it was an off night.

Holiday was an amazing bar tender, each of the party had drinks that she curated. We had Oysters on the half shell and their grilled artichoke. Lovely

Please give our poor waiter a raise. He is doing all of the work for the whole restaurant. Very chill atmosphere and live music on some nights.

Great Hydro Burger that I always grab when I'm in town. The live music could use a little work, but that food is still great no matter what you get.

Five stars because it's "our" place. Comfortable, broad enough menu, some truly excellent dishes, non-fussy service, kitchen will stay open to 11pm or later on busy nights... and they often have live dance music on Saturday nights most of the year :)

This was a great little bar and grill to get a snack and a cold beer. One of a few places open when PG&E cut off power in Sonoma and surrounding areas. YES, THE BEER WAS COLD!👍

They have a killer mango shrimp cocktail. Can get busy on weekends. Just had a great steak as we listened to live jazz....Great place.

Wait staff and service is always excellent. All I order is the Hydro wrap when I come here. Wife ordered the oatmeal and enjoyed it as well

I had a wonderful at this restaurant. We enjoyed the awesome atmosphere and the menu. The staff were super friendly. I am glad we ultimately decided to try this place.

Good and less expensive than the Italian place across the street. Their signature burger was in fact tasty, but it was really more so the toppings than the patty. Fries too were good, but they went cold almost instantly, which definitely loses them respect. Extensive beer wine and whiskey list.

Where's the beef. Who mushed the Krauts? Or 4 came in and one left happy.Those would be the subject line if this were an email. Sadly when the waitress recommend the Reuben I ordered. It was lacking in beef the kraut was bland and the bread fell apart. I hear the burgers are good, though, and the fries were nice.
